| Job Summary | Entry-level position supporting lab operations including quality assurance testing of activated carbon, data collection/reporting, sample processing/shipping, and technical support for sales and after-sales laboratory equipment. Work requires familiarity with lab safety, chemical handling, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in PPE. |
| Essential Responsibilities |
Quality Assurance: Physical and chemical testing, elemental analysis, gas absorption testing, preparing/shipping carbon samples, recording and reporting data. Technical Services & Sales Support: Prepare/ship samples, evaluate customer samples, prepare reports, use statistical tools for quality control. General Laboratory Management: Maintain/calibrate lab equipment, assist with CAPEX projects, follow safety programs and ISO procedures. |
| Requirements |
Bachelor’s in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred; relevant physical science degrees with 1-2 years experience or skilled candidates without degrees with 3-5 years experience also considered. Familiarity with lab equipment (UV/VIS, IR, AAS, TOC, TGA, etc.), proficiency with Windows and MS Office, excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, motivated, and collaborative. |
